Yeah, same here. It’s kind of a boilerplate CW teen drama in a Batman costume, but it’s been pretty entertaining! Pretty sure it has not an iota of a chance at renewal, but it’s fun while it lasts.

Also, is it just me, or does this comment feel like it is weridly out of date? Like, Arrow ended in 2020 and he is commenting about the DCEU needing them when the DCEU is closing up shop this year to be rebooted. And so is the Arrowverse for that matter.
“ Curiously, it claims the movie is rated “R” at the beginning for “some bloody violence,” and then “PG-13" at the end for “some strong violence, disturbing images, language and brief partial nudity.””
Seriously Fury you need to call ...
Thor 1 was perfectly balanced between the Shakespearean drama and the fish-out-water comedy. It’s just very different than the MCU Space movies became after Phase 2.
I’m about the easiest possible mark for anything Marvel, and will defend most of the accepted “worst” of the MCU, but Love & Thunder is one of two MCU movies I think is genuinely, legitimately bad (the other being Captain Marvel).
Presumably the title was ironic, and they realised a significant proportion of people have no sense of irony.
Really? I have never, ever heard that.
Poor guy. Doomed to spend eternity with Patty and Selma.
I’m sorry, ut every time I see Pierce Brosnan, I just think of him as the robot house from Treehouse Of Horror. “I’ve alerted the police, now take off your knickers and wait in the bath”
So, someone at Marvel actually googled “New World Order” (hi conspiracy theories and antisemitism!) and was like...
$33/hr x 20 hrs/week = $660 / week. Assuming 50 weeks/year of work, that’s $33K/year = $2750 month, gross. That’s probably less than $2000/month take home pay. How is he paying $2250/month rent on top of other expenses? There most be some other money coming in from somewhere.
Midnight? A bit odd to be airing a cartoon seemingly aimed at children so late at night.
before?! Pretty sure they secretly pulled the plug and they’re burning the eps through the summer. Seriously MIDNIGHT?! this should be on much earlier.
I love Jack Quaid but he was a poor choice, all I can hear is Ensign Brad Boimler
why the f is this airing at midnight?!
In Elemental, Disney returns once again to the well they tapped with Zootopia — having no idea how racism works.
Have there been any votes of confidence for Elemental? It looks visually stunning (as is to be expected, however in the Current Era of 2023 they can no longer ride on the basis of visuals) but the story looks boring as hell. Oooh, she’s a fire girl and he’s a water guy, how ever will they make it work? Thbbbbt.
You know what they call them in France?
I’m guessing that the source of the Superman story is Pierson Fodé’s agent.
