To those comparing this to a Bond film, there's a small moment (Mycroft talking on the one saying "I'll wait" toward the end of the episode) where they play a bit of music that is almost the exact same bit of music they play in Casino Royale when Bond goes to the Bodyworks exhibit. It's staggeringly similar. I

I enjoyed the story flashing back to 6 years ago, which reminded me of A Study in Scarlet (which ended in a massive flashback to explain a convoluted backstory of the mystery)

Yeah, really solid episode, but naming him Klick Klack was bizarre. And it felt like Forest Whitaker phoned it in. He couldn't even be bothered to use the same accent he used in the flashback in Rogue One.

Man, this comments section is like the one for Sherlock, where seemingly no one actually likes the show.

There's absolutely no way to do it 100% right.

A lot of people say the acting is bad in the prequels. I say that Natalie Portman's acting was SO bad that it somehow infected the rest of the cast.

Yes spontaneous bursts of audience enjoyment are ridiculous

Would it make you feel any better if I told you that he was also co-writing the movie?

Yeah a big theme of the books is how well-read people are generally not evil, whereas people who reject literature and research are either evil, dumb, or both. I always doubted that, but then I see incoming White House administration and think Handler was onto something.

If this series could find a way to do a Documentary-style adaptation of TUA, it would be an achievement. TUA is the best thing in the entire series, and maybe the best thing Handler has ever done. It's among the most ambitious children's books ever written.

Yeah, that's a mistake. Sir shouldn't have a face. That small detail adds a lot of atmosphere and mystery to the series. Without that…he's just sort of a guy.

The Jim Carey film got a lot wrong, but I think truncating the first three books together was honestly not a bad idea. The real meat of the series, the stuff that makes it brilliant and a cut above other series of its ilk, starts with book 5 (or Book the Fifth, I should say). I was a little disheartened that the

Just awful. She was such a role model in the way she spoke frankly and openly about mental illness. This one's a punch in the gut. I care more about Star Wars more than I care about most actual people (*my* mental illness) and it's in no small part to the humanity and strength she put into what could very well have

America needs Andy Daly now more than ever

Then you are lost!

They're ECC! Mind tricks don't work on them! Only money.

Hey, remember when literally the first thing I said was "in addition to the actual, troubling, disturbing problems in the world," thus acknowledging that my post is admittedly petty in the grand scheme of things?

Ignore my previous comment. The worst part of 2016 is having to see comments about precious snowflakes, cucks and libtards on every article ever written about anything.

In addition to the actual, troubling, disturbing problems in the world, I agree with the fan entitlement thing. I didn't see Ghostbusters, but the backlash it got was *insane.* I didn't play No Man's Sky, but the backlash it got was *insane.*

Yeah I think the chyrons actually drew attention to how jumpy it was and sort of worked against the film. To be honest, I really think you could open the film with her in prison, completely cut the flashback, and you wouldn't be lost at all.
