Totally with the developers on this one. Criticism is one thing, but dropping the fbombs here and there and just being so incredibly angry during it is another. Imagine if Wrel did that for Planetside, he would have been dropped from that DBG instantly if he was a loud mouth loose cannon.

They’re not that great benefits. Downsampling is just straight up brute forcing the game to look marginally better then super sampling or other techniques

Down sampling. It’s been a thing since forever. I think back in the day Crytek released something like a 16MP screen shot of Crysis for hype detail. Which was taken by down sampling the game and just taking a screen cap of it.

It’s interesting. I think we did something like that at school where we had a couple of people hooked up playing a few different games. Noticed different people view things differently when they play depending on how sensitive they are with their peripheral vision and how they track the mouse around.

If you ever pub in TF2 or any source game in the past decade it’s similar in some aspects. But people play Ranked for the serious business team play.

I love the concept but I can’t get behind the style of the game. It looks like a grime dark anime. Which is fine, just the character just sticks out like a sore thumb against the background.

The MOBA complaint is a bit of an iffy one though. Mostly because depending on the game, it’s either built to be more free form or not. Take League, where the games comp build is based around one top, one mid, one jungle, and two bottom. Then look at DOTA, where Lane comp isn’t as strict so weird fucky things like…

It only breaks in areas that aren’t corrupted. But if you’re in an area that’s corrupted by Gannon it doesn’t break and it deals twice as much damage.
