Fair enough. I mean, I don't know all that much about the games beyond the basic "consoles are girls" concept, but Nintendo hardware is represented, yes? Just surprises me they didn't at least throw in a Yoshette or something...

Nintendo exclusive, yes. Nintendo franchise, no. It was published by Koei.

Nothing based on Nintendo franchises? Seems a fairly glaring omission.

The very simple reason is that if you're allowing those morals to dictate your policy, often in opposition of facts and evidence, then you're basically imposing those beliefs on an entire nation. You say everyone is entitled to their beliefs, fair enough. But I can't simply opt out of laws that clash with mine. Saying

Umm, I've met a bunch of guys from punk bands at one time or another, but the absolute coolest was Ken Casey of the Dropkick Murphys. I was at a gig with my wife and a friend. My wife is disabled, and the accessible seating area in this particular venue was up on that balcony, which wasn't open to the general public

well I don't know that much about Metal Gear, so I didn't know if the electromagnetic gun bit referred to the armament it's supposed to carry in game.

So... Is it a coilgun? The description would seem to suggest so, but I'm a bit confused by the shell casing that pops out.

I'm gonna say Fox is on the right. Looking closely, the tops of the chairs are all perfectly straight, while the ones on the left look like they've been sat it.

You'll note that Nightcrawler and Archangel are both the appropriate shade of blue...

Who's the guy in purple with the white face? Chameleon?

Ohh, people got upset...

Very happy to have brought back some memories for you. It was a sad, sad day when Future ended that legacy, and it looks like they're planning on doing worse now they appear to want to shut down CVG and replace it with reposts from here (although I'll be fair, the small amount of original content Kotaku UK has come

Yeah, NMS/ONM was never much of a paragon of journalistic quality. I remember there was a point early in the N64 era where their reviews devolved into just captioned screenshots.

I'm a hair too young to really remember it (I'm almost 32), but I definitely read a few issues here and there. I'm aware it was part of that legacy, but it wasn't until N64 that I started getting every issue and reading it cover to cover :)

Shirley Crabtree, you are missed.

"... and can't fund my gaming habits because the money I do make gets spent on drugs of all kind"

I still miss N64/NGC/NGamer. I bought that every month without fail for years. I always slightly regret not hanging on to them, if only because it was so bloody funny. Happy times...

I'm so glad someone else remembers him from those days. Didn't he end up as an artist at Rare or something?

But what does it smell like?
