I immediately thought of the publix logo

Once again, a car that Lincoln should have produced. The T-bird should have been built to be a true sports car (paralleled Mustang powertrains, suspension options, and even Shelby Cobra versions) while a Lincoln version focused on true luxury.

Geeez, that sucks. RIP to a fantastic (if cheap) actor.

Of course it was nothing but a power grab. Just about every single productivity metric went up for most companies during that year, as did profits.

So the old Honda Pilot Honda Passport trick. Maybe they’ll make a sliding door version of it, and a pickup version of it.

There’s a reason liftees look into and count gondola cars/chairlifts at the end of the day. When I was a liftee/instructor/patrol, the process was:

James May’s latest India series of Our Man In... was really something. (It never felt condescending; rather, while acknowledging the challenge of approaching India as a foreigner, he showed me things about my country that I never knew about.)

I lost my finger in a meat slicer, for real the index on my left had

Joke’s on you, because the Macan may “start” at $80,450, but the actual “start” button is a $15,000 add-on. If you’ve ever tried to spec out a Porsche you’ll understand.

That money is better spent on the giant black hole in the center of the Pentagon.

Someday we’ll figure it out...why we just can’t do trains well here in the US. Sometimes, I fancy that we should sell the rail system operations to Japanese. Or Germans. Or Swiss.

My vote is the Lexus IS300. Love the design and its elegance

It’s definitely a little dated now, but I’ve had several F-Sports and always like the moving bezel thingie.

colonialism. England kinda went in and did an erasure of national identity.

But also possibly because English is the “official” language of aviation and pilots have to have some proficiency.

Infiniti is such a sad, sad brand. When the G35 debuted, it was a great car and legit sports sedan competitor to the class-leading 3-series and it improved its luxury chops after the 2007 refresh. I came close to purchasing a 2005 sport and a 2009 6MT later on and always enjoyed the idea of a competent, 6-cylinder

Considering Spicejet is an ultra low cost airline, the lavatory probably felt like 1st class compared to his assigned seat, he should be thanking the cabin crew.

Oh 100% unproven. I’ve heard rumors of issues with the new hybrid turbos. We need years on the new motors to find faults, and we’re just not there yet.

I think Elons problem, aside from being a giant twat waffle, is the for most of his career he was treated much in the same way Steve Jobs was by the press and public, like some kind of tech “Jesus” figure who can do no wrong, ever. But turns out when you look even slightly harder they turn out to actually be terrible

4runner would be my go to if that was the goal.
