As someone who has done more than a few cruises, I’d always recommend for people to avoid short 2-4 night cruises on ships that offer unlimited alcohol, because they tend to turn into a booze cruise. Unless, of course, you’re looking for a booze cruise.

The irony that a user with the handle “FloridaMan” knows of the existence of holding cells on cruise ships, and exactly what one must do to get placed in such a cell, is not lost on me. BRAVO!

Cruise ship law enforcement is another factor. Basically, there isn’t any. There are onboard security officers, but they work for the cruise ship company and have limited enforcement/investigation powers.

As someone from Columbus, OH, I don’t understand why people think you can’t get good Indian or Chinese or pretty much any other kind of food outside NYC. I mean, I think like everywhere else we started with less authentic restaurants but now people are seeing that sharing their actual cuisine works well here.

I swear to god, the valid reasons to not eat the rich become less tenable every day....
