It’s the exact opposite where I live, I have never seen one modified and I assume every one I see is a rental. I always thought Slingshots existed to give the exotic car rental places an affordable alternative to 2K/day Lambos.

The idea that Latinos can’t be racist against other Latinos is laughable to anyone who has spent any time around them.
I live in South Florida and balked at the Miami GP prices. For the price of a ticket to a race I can go on a pretty nice vacation. It just doesn’t make sense as an experience compared to other ways I could use that money.
Almost every mall I’ve been to has cars on display, and the type of car tells you everything about the demographics of the area. The fancy one near me usually has an Aston or a Bentley.
I’m kind of with them on the speed bumps, they damage cars and they also slow down ambulances trying to reach people.
Just googled Rav4 Prime and the cheapest USED model in my area is 55K.
Yes and they did make sense from a branding standpoint. The vast majority of the people I know with Harleys also own Ford trucks.
Oh I can top that, there’s an intersection near me with two Publix literally across the street from each other, and they’re both always crowded.
Total bullshit list, there’s not a single safeway in the state. We used to have a few Albertson’s (owned by Safeway) but Publix bought them out years ago. Publix is EVERYWHERE. There are 3 within a few miles of my home and they are building a new one a block away from me. The hierarchy here is Publix first, Winn…
This is an interesting comparison as many companies really did see convertibles as dead or dying in the 70s and 80s. They then experienced a revival with the popularity of the Miata inspiring numerous other companies to also start building roadsters (Z3, SLK, TT etc.) If down the line some company introduces a…
Absolutely, no excuse for this crap. If they know they have a higher than normal passenger volume they should alert passengers in advance so they know to arrive early. All of this should be planned out.
I’m sure economy was at the top of the engineers priority list when designing a 15,000lbs armored limousine.
Lexus IS300 Sportcross. Inline six, RWD, compact size. Put a manual in it this time and it would be perfect.
It would probably cost near double that after shipping and import duties, plus it would have to meet our crash test regulations. At 5K maybe there’s a business case but I suspect it would be closer to 10K here. At that price people will just buy used cars.
You guys put pictures of the V90 twice and did not picture the V60
Amazing how some people think a 20 year old is mature enough to sign up for massive amounts of student loan debt, but not mature enough to date Leonardo DiCaprio.
Attracting people who just want to party is the reason Miami and Las Vegas exist. I’m sure the F1 races will do fine from a business standpoint, to the detriment of middle class fans who don’t want to spend $1500 to attend a race.
That’s how it works at every Kayak/rafting outfitter I have gone to in North Carolina. You park and lock your car, take your keys, and get in their van. Nobody touches your car.
Well if you’re on a family ski trip any minivan is an upgrade over the Chevy Impala we would have had instead.
