Rolex, possibly in collaboration with Lexus.

Volvo is the best choice here by far, maybe look at Lincoln Aviator also.

The Blazer comparison really holds no water here. New Defender is a very capable off road vehicle with great styling that evokes the original. The new Blazer has absolutely no off road capability or aesthetic resemblance to it’s predecessors.

Hard to believe he’s out of money but refusal to pay is very believable.

This case is a gold mine for whatever attorney reps him and he still has burned through four of them. Amazing.

Counterpoint: I’m 6'4" and I put my backpack at my feet and my rolling bag in the overhead because I’m not a selfish asshole. Larger people are very squeezed in coach, you are right about that. I pay for the extended legroom seats for any flight longer than about 90 minutes.

Key West tried to ban big cruise ships recently but the state stepped in and put a stop to it. The megaships crowd the town and make a lot of money for a small amount of people, with little benefit to most residents. The cruise ship passengers aren’t staying in local hotels or eating at local restaurants.

My parents did a cruise last month. Originally scheduled for five port calls and four of those were cancelled due to unspecified COVID related reasons. I would not want to get on a cruise ship right now with all the COVID risks.

It’s mostly eating, then sitting by the pool waiting to get hungry again. The food is generally much better than Golden Corral.

As it stands now I understand these concerns, but hopefully many of these problems will get much better in the coming years. Charging infrastructure is the major impediment for me, every EV review I read makes it clear that apart from Tesla’s superchargers the charging network is an absolute mess.

My problem with fast food is the effect of the grease on my digestive system more than the nutrition facts. If this dude has a cast iron stomach, more power to him.

A surprising amount of people buy them. When I bought my 4Runner used about 4 years ago, thankfully before the current pricing insanity, 4WD examples were definitely in the minority. My ideal 4Runner was one with a tan/brown interior and 4WD. I had to compromise and settle for black interior to find 4WD.

I am a resident of South Florida. Last night, while driving my girlfriend home, I encountered a railway crossing. The gates came down in front of me. While I was tired and wanted to get home, I waited patiently for the Brightline train to pass. I am currently still alive. It really wasn’t that difficult.

It’s a lot more than 5 seconds, interlocks are incredibly annoying. The devices also require regular calibration by a professional to work accurately

If that’s true that is really fucking scary, hard to believe anyone thinks its a good idea to force pilots to just ignore their mental health issues or risk losing their job

Between this and the Malaysian crash maybe it’s time to mandate regular mental health assessments for pilots.

I’m sure he also thinks suicide nets are a very reasonable safety precaution, totally necessary at any startup.

Well I can’t post an image but use your imaginations to conjure up the family guy scene with Peter and the guys doing a Segway tour and chanting “we’re not from here!”

This is the only widely used Segway application.

Someone could probably stick this on their rural property in NC or CA, spruce up the interior and have a ready to go AirBnb guesthouse without even fixing the powertrain.
