A surprising amount of people buy them. When I bought my 4Runner used about 4 years ago, thankfully before the current pricing insanity, 4WD examples were definitely in the minority. My ideal 4Runner was one with a tan/brown interior and 4WD. I had to compromise and settle for black interior to find 4WD.

I am a resident of South Florida. Last night, while driving my girlfriend home, I encountered a railway crossing. The gates came down in front of me. While I was tired and wanted to get home, I waited patiently for the Brightline train to pass. I am currently still alive. It really wasn’t that difficult.

It’s a lot more than 5 seconds, interlocks are incredibly annoying. The devices also require regular calibration by a professional to work accurately

If that’s true that is really fucking scary, hard to believe anyone thinks its a good idea to force pilots to just ignore their mental health issues or risk losing their job

Between this and the Malaysian crash maybe it’s time to mandate regular mental health assessments for pilots.

I’m sure he also thinks suicide nets are a very reasonable safety precaution, totally necessary at any startup.

Well I can’t post an image but use your imaginations to conjure up the family guy scene with Peter and the guys doing a Segway tour and chanting “we’re not from here!”

This is the only widely used Segway application.

Someone could probably stick this on their rural property in NC or CA, spruce up the interior and have a ready to go AirBnb guesthouse without even fixing the powertrain.

Exactly, this is no different than the hand wringing over the new Defender. The people who gripe about modernity don’t buy new cars anyway, and the Defender and Bronco Sport are both by all accounts excellent products that are selling like hotcakes. A friend tried to buy a Bronco Sport recently and Ford dealers

Or to the people who sold their crypto at the top of the market.

Cadillac’s have never been immune to badge engineering to a degree. This Eldorado shared a platform with the Buick Riviera and Olds Toronado.

That example is fiction but it’s definitely based in reality. Eyewitnesses are often wrong, leading to innocent people being convicted, even in murder trials.

1994 300ZX: Cruise control doesn’t work, AC only comes out the dash vents because the blend doors have failed, turn signals won’t self cancel. The AC sensor makes an intermittent weird buzzing noise. There are also various small rust spots that will need to be addressed and the leather is torn in places.

Interesting that she references Quaaludes, they haven’t been manufactured since 1985.

I think you’re right! I’m not a universal Mansory hater like some around here but this is definitely not their best work...

The Mega Track is awesome!

I can’t imagine why, not like we ever have issues with traffic...

I paid about 5K for my Z32 300ZX, NA, 5spd. It’s a very fun car. They’re more expensive these days but you can still get good ones for less than 15K.

Unfortunately I did not grab a picture, but I was a pretty ratty Jensen Interceptor outside a mechanic’s shop!
