I own two properties within a few miles of the coast in different parts of Florida. So far they’ve appreciated in value quite well and rental costs where I live now are so astronomical it’s actually cheaper for me to own. I do fear what will happen if I can’t get myself out of this state in the next few decades.

You’re not kidding, it seems like half the license plates I see on the road in the winter are from Quebec.

I gave my dog beer very rarely (think a half shot glass of Guinness on St Paddy’s). Why anyone would force a dog to drink is beyond me.

Most retail stores have a don’t chase policy for liability reasons.

Do you really want us to end up with President Mike Pence? Personally I’d prefer not to see my gay friends lynched in the town square.

When Mozart lived there were 700 million people on Earth. When Einstein lived there were about 1.5 billion. We currently have 7.5 billion so we should already be seeing an exponential increase in great people.

I’ve worked as a driver for both Jimmy John’s and a third party service and overall JJ’s was a slightly better experience as an employee, and I definitely got the food to the customer faster. JJ’s paid minimum wage plus tips so I made some money even on slow days. The tips were usually better with the third party

This generation of XC70 was based on the S80. My mother still has the 2008 S80 she bought new and it’s been extremely reliable.

Totally non-essential! Your employer will have no issue with you showing up for work looking like Tom Hanks in Castaway.

The dragon’s scales are supposed to be as tough as steel plate armor, but even if the scorpions could pierce them the fact that they couldn’t see a fleet of ships from the air and then took no evasive action when the ships did appear is ridiculous. That scene really pissed me off.

This would one hell of a good used car if I could find one with a long extended warranty in a few years. Unfortunately Carmax doesn’t appear to carry Alfas.

Under Florida law they can issue (and hopefully already have) a suspension of his concealed carry permit for the arrest.

I saw a decent number of these when I was in the UK a few years ago, I think they give pretty hefty tax breaks to hybrid buyers.

Shady, but effective.

I have no idea what you’re referring to and while I have sympathy for the terrible situation sexual assault victims are placed in I do not believe the solution is gutting due process and shifting the burden of proof to the accused.

As a man of some height, my problem is finding dress shirts shirts long enough for the back not to pop out every time I sit down.

In my experience it depends entirely on the bar. One very popular bar in my hometown was notorious for kicking people out for any reason they could think of. They always had a line at the door so I’m sure it helped keep people rotating in. When I got tossed out for stumbling slightly on a wet floor I walked two doors

Our current governor (who would not have been elected if felons were able to vote last year) is doing everything in his power to keep felons off voter rolls despite amendment 4.

How are women supposed to ward off Vagina Vampires? You can’t shove a crucifix up there, Jesus would be displeased!

Get a restraining order through the court system. No different from all the sexual assault victims who are not college students.
