Exactly, Triss was never a good character, even in the books. She was perfect for the first Witcher game, where Geralt is highly encouraged to fuck everthing in sight. A strong relationship with Yen, would have seriously been in the way.

Triss is pretty insipid in the books as well. Yen is far from perfect, but Geralt fucks pretty much everything in sight at the start of their relationship, so it’s far from one sided. I don’t really think Yen treats Geralt that unfairly in Witcher 3. As a matter of fact, it’s easy to see that everything harsh she does…

Yen is a more complex and fascinating character too, Triss is not even that interesting in the books. And Yen’s voice is attractive as well.

I’ve read all the books and played all the games.

Just saying “it’s not correct”, doesn’t exactly convince anybody, you know.

Triss is such an asshole for taking advantage of Geralt when he had amnesia. On top of that, her voice actress in Witcher 3 is super annoying. Yen is the only possible choice.

I played it many times, but now I’m holding out for a remaster.

I let her have her way, but regretted it. On my next playthrough, I will reject her and I won’t get her ribbon...
