I will put every other game I’m playing on hold for Blood and Wine!

Easy, Miitomo is an absolutely crappy game.
Exactly, there was a recent article explaining why Witcher 3 was a better RPG than the rest, and the main takeaway was that the history and richness of the lore and characters would be impossible to duplicate with a random character created by the player.
The biggest issue is that the “game” is simply boring as hell, I log in regularly to get points in case of another cool perk like the Twilight Picross, but it’s not fun. The way I avoid the privacy issue is by answering the questions in the most dry, tongue in cheek manner possible.
I decided to finally play Star Fox 64 3D after reading this review, I hadn’t played Star Fox since the N64. I forgot how insanely short and easy the game is, I finished it in less than an hour. Still a blast, but a really short blast.
Damn, and I thought Skyward Sword’s motion controls had issues. Please Nintendo, I’m begging you, keep the motion stuff to the bare minimum. Just make a damn great controller, like the GameCube one, or even the Wii U Controller Pro. Stop the madness. Now I’m worried about the new Zelda game...
My issue with all of your “12 best game for X system” is that you don’t focus on exclusives. If I buy a new system, chances are I already have a lot of the cross-platform releases and what I’m looking for is the 12 best exclusive games on my new system. Or at least let me know that this system’s version is the best.…
I agree with you, the combat is maybe the least appealing thing I’ve ever seen in an rpg. If this is how the main game plays, it’s a hard pass from me.
“Combat feels a bit shallow”
This is why you don’t promise big news to a rabid fan base. If they had just released the tweet for the clothing line, people would have criticized it, sure, but not with the same venom that comes from bitter disappointment. Here’s what’s “Big News” for a Souls fan, Bandai:
Yeah, I got the OoT 3DS, the Link Between Worls 3DS XL and the Majora New 3DS. Never gonna give those up.
By the way, I’m no fan of IGN, but they made a series called prepared to Try, where a noob who would probably never have played Dark Souls otherwise, tries to finish it before Dark Souls III comes out. I am absolutely obsessed with it:
I’m so torn about this series, I love the combat system, I wish it was retro-activated in all classic JRPG’s. The possibility of going through a dungeon without having to fight monsters and just take your time to explore first for instance, is absolutely essential, in my opinion. However I must admit that about 1/3…
Yeah, I think I made it on my 3rd attempt. I gave up on my heavy build earlier, even though I loved my Elite Knight look. I’m now playing with an upgraded Black Leather and the havel ring with 25% weight so I can still fast roll. Coming from Bloodborne, I got to have my fast roll :)
I summoned Knight Solaire but he died fairly fast in the fight, I got a Silver Knight Straight Sword and upgraded it at the giant by the boss room, which helped a lot. It was easier than I thought it would be frankly, based on their reputation. Still the toughest Boss in the game so far. The archer Knights leading to…
Yeah, I’ll gladly wait. I’m finishing Dark Souls 1 for the first time anyway. Just beat Ornstein & Smough. Is that an Indie rock band yet?
You can say a lot of things about Witcher 3, but boring is just not one of them.
I can’t think of only one, but one unlikely comfort food is The Legend of Zelda’s Link Awakening. Probably because it’s the first game that introduced me to the legend, but also because it’s such a perfect compact experience. Other ones would be Castlevania Symphony of the Night and Dawn of Sorrow, Streets of Rage 2…
I would, but MH4U has spoiled me. The updated gameplay makes it impossible for me to go back to 3.
It’s a great time to buy, A lot of the best games are coming to the classic series, which only cost 20 bucks. Pikmin 3, Super Mario 3D World and Tropical Freeze are part of this, and Wind Waker is apparently next.
