Is there really a point to declaring the Old Republic story line as non cannon? The whole point of the old republic was that it took place THOUSANDS of years before the events of the movies. That way they could tell their own story without it infringing or needing to be based on the events of the films.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who notice how grindy the combat looks. It sure looks nice but it doesn't seem all that fun to spend so long beating on the same group of dudes who don't really pose a threat but take forever to defeat.
