I’m not sure where there was a need for a NEW Nintendo 3DS XL. I upgraded because I bought an original 3DS, but what exactly is on the horizon for that console? We got a Zelda game nobody asked for, and that doesn’t even require the new console.

Even the PS TV was a failure. Half of the Vita games aren’t compatable with it (and probably never will be) and you won’t get support from Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon Prime either. That’s what people want if they’re going to spend that kind of money to put that box in another room in their house.

Unfortunately, as it has been pointed out many times on these forums, Sony only has themselves to blame for the Vita’s issues. It wasn’t just the overpriced memory cards (which had a lot to do with it), but bad portable versions of big-name franchises. The Call of Duty game on Vita was garbage, the Madden game was…

1. Of all games, the first one I sunk a hundred hours into on my 360 was Guitar Hero 3. Not Halo, not Skyrim, not Mass Effect, not GTA IV......it was Guitar Hero. Go figure.
