I must admit, I really don't know much about the US market but it sounds very familiar. Here we had the awful Favorit and many other models. Even a rear-engined model back in the day that used to go rallying, the name of the model evades me though. Modern Skoda's however are superb.

It is considered pretty uncool, but strangely admired at the same time. It's a very strange mix. People respect Skoda's but still have trouble getting past the days many years ago where they were truly awful cars.

Thanks! I'll give it a go, I'm probably not a genius writer like have of you lot but hey, if you're interested in Skoda's I can sure share my experiences with you. I just go onto the main page and compose right?

I visited the Czech Rep because my friends are Czech and moved back, I went to their wedding. The Czech Republic is honestly one of the most beautiful places i've ever visited. Especially in the national park around Hrenzko (sorry if I spelt that wrong).
If anybody is interested I own a brand new 2013 Skoda Octavia vRS petrol manual? I could write up a review about it if you're curious. I'm new here so I might need a little help with pictures and all that, but i'd be glad to share my car with you guys.
In my opinion this car looks great! Right up until you look at this highlighted section here. Look how far away the wheel is from the front... mad design.
I drove the Juke Nismo up the hill at Goodwood back in the summer, and it was alright. I was expecting worse, but it handled ok and it wasn't that slow. But yeah, it is ugly, there' s no getting around that!
The Peugeot TT and the Audi RCZ. They're fantastic looking cars.
I've driven 3 Mini's. At no point while I was driving them did I feel remotely manly. It's the only car that has made me self conscious .
I have many friends who are French and the one thing they all unanimously agree on is; 'Don't buy a French car'. Despite that, when I was lost driving around Paris for 8 hours, I did develop a soft spot for the old Twingo. Very cute car.
With the taxes on fuel being so high in the UK, I'm shocked that we're not offering to give away a Bentley or a Morgan. I bet Portugal's a lovely place to live. Beautiful language.
