I am SHOCKED that this didn’t start life out as a Super Mario Sunshine-themed shooter that they later turned into a new IP.

I sure love this game, but boy oh BOY do I hate the in-game dialog font.

agreed! I hate when a game doesn’t go all the way and use a pixel-y font. I’ll likely DL the game anyway, but it’ll bug me to no end.

You want to get the app if for no other reason then you can buy in-game gear for Splatoon that’s exclusive to the app. You order in the app, and then pick it up in the game. The cool thing is even if you don’t have enough in-game currency for the item, you can still order it and it will be held until you can afford it.

I don’t know what it does, but it sure is pretty.
