I would think it's pretty obvious that you could probably throw a handful of bb's at someone and get more force than you would get with this.

I made a claymore mine for airsoft out of pvc, a stake, a spring, and fishing line as a trip wire. It launched about 100 bb's 30 feet with a high point at about 7 feet in the air. If I can find it, I'll post it.
