#2 i kind of iffy.  As an employee I would want it, but why should a boss pay for 2 months and possibly have to hire contractors to take over while someone is out?

It’s a bullshit statistic and doesnt take into account many factors, gender being the least. If a million men are engineers and 1/2 million women are, then by straight numbers men make more when you average the salaries.  These clickbait-stories leave facts like that out.
