I have (Mazda3) and it was no different than a Civic, except I had higher expectations because they market the things like they are BMW M cars.

I think maybe the marketing has gotten to you.

They had one nice concept and then the turd Kai. Subaru brought a nice Viziv concept along with some other interesting vehicle and surely Honda brought much more to the table than Mazda.

I just don’t get the Mazda obsession on this site. Modern Mazdas are about as un-gearheaded as cars can be.

Isn’t that like $4k off the base asking price of the vehicle? I test drove a 2016 Mustang with 8k miles and it was nearly $15k off the MSRP. I just bought a S4 that’s only a few years old for about 1/3 of the original MSRP. This isn’t unique to Jag.

Depends on the model, especially with Range Rovers. As soon as the new body style comes out the older ones tank, but the current body style will usually hold its value decently for what it is. The XE may hold its value a lot better than the XJ, which has historically been one of the worst.
