If this were a German manufacturer we’d never hear the end of “overengineered/unreliable” comments and “LS swap” comments and plenty of “‘Murica!” Since this is a corvette though...guess it's not a big deal.

I buy a new car ever 2 years, drive it like i stole it, check thr fluids every 2 weeks, but i follow whatever the manual says, in my 15 years of driving, ive yet to have any engine trouble.

No, you should follow what your owners manual tells you to do. Some factory fills have different additives to help the the break in process. I’ve always followed the OM on all my new cars when it comes to first oil change and have never had an engine failure. And I beat the crap out of my cars.

You should change the oil and filter on ANY new engine after 500-1000 miles. Chevy also says you can go up to 10,000 miles on synthetic oil on a LS/LT engine. I still change my synthetic every 4000 miles normal driving or before every track day. Cheap insurance for your engine....

I love me some Tucker!

Soon, but probably with a Fiat badge, from what I hear.

I know Subaru claims 200hp, but those are the weakest, pansy-ass horsepowers I’ve ever encountered.

I would love to see another comparison using the base models. Give me a $25,000 ND against a $25,000 FRS/BRZ. The FRS/BRZ has the same suspension and tire throughout the entire trim lines and the ND has lots of variation. The one used here was Club spec with the expensive Brembo/BBS package, pushing its price $3000

And coilovers bro!

It’s kind of always been that way though. The NCs I tested had a lot more flex than I expected especially compared to the flat-ass BRZ. But like you said, that’s why God invented sway bars.

Holy crap, 5.8 0-60 is pretty crazy. That’s usually reserved for cars with 250-350 hp.

Hahaha. Now now. Wyoming is a beautiful place with wonderful people and a very excited cowboy on the license plate.

Yes. I have an rx8 and I was looking for a replacement desperately. The BRZ bombed the test drive and the interior is arguably worse than the rx8. It is less comfortable as well.

Eh. I don’t know that more power would help sales. Most of the people who would want one (with any amount of power) already have one. Would +50hp really sway people? Even those just starting to look for a new car - are they the ones clamoring for more power, or is it just “enthusiasts?” Are those enthusiasts the ones

I’ve stood next to one at a dealer; I just haven’t seen the engine bay. Personally, I like the size of the car; I just kind of wish it came with the WRX AWD drivetrain and the XV’s suspension. In brown. With plaid upholstery.

Not too bad in person, What would you like? a big stupid plastic cover?

Hey, my Juke is a force to be recken with. It weighs roughly the same as a low-optioned BRZ but has been dyno’d at 231whp 222ft/lb. Unfortunately it’s FWD though, as that was the only way to get the 6MT.

Too bad E85 is next to impossible to get outside of the Mid-west
