I can’t even find an si with less than 5-10 grand markup, let alone even test drive one. They will let you test drive it after you pay 40+ grand for it lol

And we just don’t fucking deserve the new 500. Americans shat all over the new generation of Fiats. They were great cars, but marketed very poorly. It was a bad decision to go for the Mini market.
I can verify an automatic Fit is such a fucking dog to drive! :) Get a stick or none at all!
Cringing at all the “she’s a great car...” crap! Maybe it’s just me but it’s so annoying when people personify their car!!!
Great! Just checking to make sure someone corrected that statement lol!
I’ve been yelled “fag” several times in San Diego just walking around with a friend! It is pretty funny to hear in this day and age actually, sounds so silly lol
Does anyone have any idea why none of the car mags or other sites have performance tested the new WRX yet? There are only test drives on YT and product commentary from the enthusiast mags. Would love to see the redesigned WRX performance tested! Is it possible that Subaru doesn’t want these tested?!
I thought the outgoing 370 was about 3300 lbs. Also this is not light weight esp for a sports car no matter the era. This is about the same weight as a Tesla Model 3 for god’s sake haha. But that motor is a beast and I’m sure weighs a lot. Also the twin turbo 300ZX was a heavy mofo too, so I’ll wait to hear more and…
This is kind of a ridiculous article as cars right now are not selling for 25k period except for the cheapest civic’s and corollas, if you’re lucky! Maybe when (if?) car prices come down across the industry?
Great points ManicDan! Also, worth mentioning that an average of 33 mpg combined is on the very high side for ICE vehicles, and especially 26 MPG for a large luxury vehicle!! I’m thinking most large lux cars and trucks would be 20 mpg or less.
Agree, also 26 mpg for a large luxury car? More like 20 mpg! At best lol
My subscriptions to the big magazines has also lapsed. The writing has become just cliche after cliche and sometimes feels like shit is being spoon fed to me by giant oil conglamarates. This type of information regarding the social aspect of our highways I find very fascinating. Another angle of this is the design of…
Really?! Did someone hold a gun to your head and force you to read this article holy Toledo haha. Personally I find this topic fascinating and it is a fabric of American cultural history, and incredibly relevant to motoring enthusiasts as we are all obviously tuned into these roads we all drive on. Sorry that your…
Agree, these suggestions are sooooo fucking boring. Just get a base model Tesla. It has romance mode and you can fuck your friend all night in the forest at least
What in god’s creation is fun about a 4 cylinder pickup? Unless you are hauling gravel. I don’t get this recommendation at all. “You live in the country so it would be nice to have” doesn’t even mean anything. Is he hauling manure or something?!
None of the cars you just mentioned sound FUN to me anyway. That was what this young guy was looking for. Trodding around in a 4500 pound junky sled doesn’t sound fun to me anyway unless it’s at night and doing stoplight races haha.
The 500 and Abarth are GREAT road trip cars. I don’t understand why people keep trashing their road trip potential. Fold the seats down and a relatively huge cargo hold and the front seats are roomy and comfy. The ride is fine too.
Disagree I love driving a stick in hilly cities! Have taken several trips to SF in stick shifts cars and it’s always a lot of fun!
I owned the current gen Mazda 3 with a stick and they are absolute DOGS either 2.0 or 2.5. Not fun to drive even with the slick stick
I drove an Abarth for 70k miles including many road trips and it was always a blast and plenty comfy
