These cars haven’t aged well! :(

We had one of these, a ‘91 Eagle Premier, when I was a teenager. It was a great car and was even fairly reliable for an American car at the time. Our family drove it well over 100k miles before trading it in for an Altima in the late 90s. It was the car I got a lot of my teenage hooliganism out on!

These things are very reliable and fun to tear it up in. Have driven mine all over the SW and it’s fun always. Even better with the canvas top.

The shitty gearing in the 5 speed ruins these cars, not to mention the ridiculous space inefficiency.

The original Versa design was way more interesting and with a stick was actually kind of fun to wring out. The current one no, oh hell no. It’s like if you never enjoy anything, then drive a Versa.

I’ve been driving mine I bought new 4 years ago and it’s one of my favorite cars I’ve ever owned and dead reliable.

I’m curious what’s the benefit of downsizing to 15s? I have an Abarth and just returned the tires to stock size after running +1 tires and feel like the car drives way better. Much sportier feel.
