Ev batteries are completely different then cell phone batteries! For example they are liquid cooled and heated and are not completely charged or completely depleted. I just finished 3 yr and 35k with a fiat 500e and it was a flawless little car and no noticeable battery degradation.

Did you torque the drain plug properly and install a new washer? I learned that the hard way on my 12 Mazda 3!

They don’t part share with ford anymore. Everything they make now is their own stuff!

Actually in 12 and 13 they sold both the 2.0 skyactive alongside a cheaper trim with the old revvy 2.0 mzr engine! They also sold an mzr based 2.5 through 13. In 14 they went full skyactive with the redesigned 3 in both 2.0 and 2.5!

Go to a different Mazda dealer then, I’m sure there are plenty of options around Evanston. Unfortunately there is a lot of variability in the quality of individual dealers, until the tesla model of selling cars is adopted.

Just bought a Mazda 3 hatch, it’s an amazing piece of engineering for a budget price. I don’t think it would be nearly as good as it is if it weren’t for the regulation of safety, emissions and fuel economy!

Well I’ve seen base sentras on sale for 12 grand so maybe in a year these will be available for a more reasonable 17 grand or so!
