Say literally anything of value

I didn’t get hired at Harvard as a result of those claims

I know someone who was in a non-teaching position at a school district. Something went wrong and they became the fall person, clearly going to be fired. Except at the meeting with the board, they were pressured to resign instead of actually being fired. Said the district wouldn’t fight the unemployment claim. When the

Also the resign or we will blackball you so will never work in education again method.

I totally believe her. When I started with my current employer (in 2000 no less) the then-Executive Director advised me to avoid hiring young, married women because (and this is a direct quote) “They just go off and have babies. It’s really inconvenient and we have to hold their jobs for the year they’re on maternity

“Make your life shit until you quit because severance sucks and also it looks like you did it of your own will” is a classic tactic for a lot of companies.

January 5, 2015. I had just told my boss I was pregnant a week or so before.

I love so-called progressives who act like this isn't a thing that happened.

The only people who care about this were never going to vote for Warren in any case.

No one respects anything you have to say and you should consider that before you ever post again.

Having seen the inner workings of more than one school board, I have observed that schools routinely “fire” teachers by getting them to resign. The reason is very simple: if a teacher resigns, the district doesn't have to deal with the union, especially if the district accepts the resignation "with regret" (and a cozy

So... further proof that Elizabeth Warren fucks?

I predict that you will soon be receiving at least one or more incensed comments from a couple of known quantities who will have only read the article stub prior to flying—full of righteous indignation—to the “reply” button.

...I will be charging a fee for my clairvoyance further down the line.

There should be either a 1 in front of the 6 or a zero after it.

but I can at least kind of feel for the guy, to some extent.
