NuWho has a way of getting under my skin.

Is there any genuine purpose to resorting to personal attacks here? It's the comment sections on a pop culture website's article about a canceled NBC television show.

I actually hope that it's even worse than it looks (which is terrible), but I don't go around shrieking about it constantly like some folks on the Internet do.

I think only about 1 in 6 episodes of Criminal Minds ends with the suspect still alive to go to trial.

The Global Trade System is the open spice which allows those of us who would get arrested hanging around playgrounds or college dorms to trade.

Did you ever hear Joan Rivers' talk about Chaz? Clearly she cared about who she still thought of as her god-daughter, but she so deeply and fundamentally didn't GET the idea of trans people if's retroactively embarrassing for everyone involved.

Ahh, wrong on every single entry. That's the TI I'm comfortable with.

And also came out 8 years ago, which makes it seem an odd example when talking about a transition into a new paradigm with Zootopia.

Animals that died of natural causes.

I have - and I did not finish it.

A lot of the Federation economy is a reputation/prestige/gift economy. "*I* have wine that was actually grown in the *dirt* and which made Frenchmen suffer to produce. It's soooooo much better than your replicated garbage." By providing the wine so that Wine Snob can be an asshole at his next dinner party, the Picards

Well, that's kind of… well, the Golden Throne isn't actually a life support device. The Emperor was building a device to break into the Eldar webway so that A) humanity wouldn't need to use the Warp any more to travel, and B) he could kill all the Navigators for being filthy mutants. But when Horus gravely wounded

Rights. In these comic book movies, it ALWAYS comes down to rights.

Because "boom-boom" is a childish euphemism for solid excrement, which we can all be assured Wade would waste no time in pointing out. Also, I *suspect* Tabitha's rights are a helluva lot more complicated to secure than Ellie's.

Hm. Stand-alone?

I don't care WHO Wonder Woman is sexing as long as it came along organically. Superman/Wonder Woman, DCAU Batman/Wonder Woman, honestly even Steve Trevor/Wonder Woman, were all decided ahead of time, and then the story mangled to accommodate it.

Nope. Except for bringing Miles and Evil Reed into 616, and introducing Singularity over at A-Force, Secret Wars has had zero impact on the larger Universe. It was an excuse to shuffle the rosters of the various X-Men and Avengers titles, but those *could* have been done without resorting to Battleworld.

Octavia Butler is not a writer who ever pulled punches, that's for sure.
