I am sad to read this from you and that you had to go through this. And I think your last line says a lot. Well, you entire comment does.

I have a 14 year old son. He’s so fucking chill. He loves kittens and tiny dogs. He can’t help but spoil his little baby cousins. The littler girl? He melts and will do anything they want, give them anything they want. He gets annoyed when I dont’ let him open doors or carry heavy things for me.

Good for the parents. I don’t even know what I would say if my son did this. I can’t imagine.

This is such an awful story and I don’t want to look at more articles. But people are criticizing the father? Fuck.

There are a lot of internet tough guys out there.

I remember seeing an episode of Adam-12 where Malloy and Reed were giving a community talk to a class of women at a local college. One of their lessons was that victims need to decide ahead of time to fight back or just basically surrender to the situation with the idea that while the crime is occurring you get help

I’ve seen people tearing the father to shreds for leaving when commanded (by gun). I know that it’s a tragically difficult scenario to imagine, and people’s instincts are to stay with their children no matter what, but who knows what would’ve happened if he stood his ground? At least this way he was able to leave and

This is one of those times when you should use the caps to indicated ‘My Stepson, My Lover’ is a title.

It’s a good thing Ditka’s father used corporal punishment. Otherwise that guy might have turned into some kind of asshole.

Magnificent.

“We fled Syria for this?”

Thank you. People keep conflating the two, along with the idea that planted evidence = cops killed her and framed him.

And that voice. Don’t even get me started on his stupid voice. Ugh!

Seriously, if they say Brendan Dassey’s confession is real, where the hell is all that blood evidence? The mattress would have had a lot of blood stains since Dassey claims they slashed her throat. Also was any of Dassey’s DNA found in the car?

Same. I’m so impressed by her attitude about that whole fuck up. That is a classy lady, right there.

One thing that, in my mind, gets lost in discussing this case is this fact.

I love okra in all its forms. I remember rejoicing in a Mobile hospital cafeteria after my best friend had surgery - because they had boiled okra on the buffet line! (And because my friend came through surgery just fine.) Odd thing is, one of my dogs loves okra almost as much as I do. And beets. I love those too.

This reads similarly to Leviticus;

After a stillbirth, and my older sister dying as an infant, my parents had 4 more bio children and took in 3 foster children. Thirty eight years together last month.
