I wouldn’t say its been a solid season. The first couple of months were dreadful. But the last 4 to 5 episodes have all been solidly entertaining

Yeah, I agree with this. I mean not every episode has been great and I didn’t personally enjoy this one as much as most this season, but even here most sketches drew a chuckle from me.

Complete opposite reaction.  The operated-upon-man suddenly clapping even while still unconscious was the show being over the top and knowing it, and it worked for me.  I legitimately laughed out loud at it.
