The article meant they have to reduce the number of models they offer, not that they have to make it smaller. Though if they can make it smaller without sacrificing video quality and battery life and raising price, that’ll be a winner.

Apple is almost entirely about the ease of use thing, in a nice package, at a premium but not ridiculous price. Red is high performance at astronomical prices (and targeted at professionals). GoPro is not quite the Apple of the video camera world, but they are a lot closer than Red the way I see it.
Mounting? (blame it on auto-correct)
Yes, and an early warning system will give you time to prepare.
You don’t think 8 to 15 seconds will do much good? Imagine a dentist working on your teeth when an earthquake hits. 8 seconds is enough time for him to get the drill away from your tooth. And your distance away from an earthquake is not the same as your closest distance to a fault - it could be, of course. But…
Will no one think of the lobbyists? Luxury cars and penthouses don’t grow on trees, you know.
Can you explain your reasoning so that we can tell you why you’re wrong?
Meh.
Gluten free would probably be true :) and “no MSG”.
Thanks! True innovators, these guys. Ahead of the curve.
I don’t think it’s the strain from being stood on that’s causing the spontaneous combustion - I could be wrong though. Phones in pockets can undergo a lot of stress too - just look at the “folding” phone fiasco. You’re right about the size of the battery and the size of the potential fire, but even a small fire from…
That’s pretty much most electronics these days, assuming you group LiPo and LiIon together. I’m not about to start carrying my phone in a fireproof pouch. Although come to think of it, I may be able to make a small fortune on this with a bit of fear mongering. Let’s start an eBay store!
Companies that use shoddy circuits and batteries will have no qualms about printing a fake UL or CE logo. Heck, they’ll probably certify it organic if it helps it sell.
Damn, that’s a brilliant idea!
Lifehacker has a build guide using a Raspberry Pi a couple of weeks back.
Yes, but I think I’d be a bit disturbed to have Raccoon Girl’s face superimposed on my body.
The Internet reacts to the Fine Brothers’ idea of trademarking “react” videos :
Isn’t this is essentially the approach VCs use with start-ups? Fund a bunch of them, help them along when necessary, the few percent that goes public pays for everything many times over. Google is big and profitable enough to be its own VC ecosystem.
There’s Dove soap here (California) too... I call it the magical disappearing soap bar because that thing pretty much melts away on its own. BTW is Lux common in the UK? It was a very common brand in Commonwealth countries like India and Singapore. Lux is practically synonymous with soap, I believe.
Haven’t been to the UK yet. How’s the inside different? Ooh, youtube video... never mind. Been to a number of countries in Asia and they have the same packaging as the US (at least, during the times I’ve looked for candy).
