The Photon is also WiFi based (and is cheaper). You can create a REST interface to read from or write to the I/O pins, so it is fairly easy to have it energize a relay and open / close the garage door. I don’t think there’s any other country with a black and white flag right now. The only ones I can think of is the Jolly Rogers, FSM Pirate Fish, Taliban, and ISIS.

I think that’s part of the reason. Do you watch TV over Netflix? Amazon Prime? Some other online service? Netflix accounts for a lot of bandwidth on the Internet, and people are ditching cable service for it. So Comcast is losing revenue, and providing the way to do it.
