The f number is focal length divided by entrance pupil diameter (Wikipedia). Phone cameras usually have a focal length of around 4mm, so we’re looking at an entrance pupil diameter of 16mm. There probably isn’t any material with a refractive index anywhere near high enough would be my guess.

I’m only 1/3 of the way through the book right now. I’m losing a lot of sleep because of it - normally I read to fall asleep, but I don’t want to put down this book.
