Is this the same Kerry Kilos who would spam the comments with irrelevant prose that has absolutely nothing to do with the topic, and got very bitter when the editors finally stopped him? He then started creating fake editor accounts (same name with something added to the end, same photo) and probably got banned for

No need. Put car in gear, stomp on accelerator, and let about 5 tons of steel flatten the attacker stupid enough to stand in front of an armored vehicle.

Yes, but you should have a halfway decent charger. Something that is not timer based, and can charge them individually.

The Eneloop XX is the older generation with slightly inferior low self discharge behavior. But at 2/3 the price, it is not a bad tradeoff. The new generation is about the same price without a charger.

Just curious, do you put it in the dishwasher? Mine is chipped and scratched but it did bounce off the road...

I have the Thermos 16oz travel tumbler. Bought it 3 years ago. It has been through lots of abuse, including bouncing off asphalt (drove off with it on top of the car). It doesn't spill, insulates VERY well, easily disassembles for cleaning, solid construction. Every few months, I drop a denture cleaner tablet into it,

Never say that. Tempting fate is not good :)

I love it when I'm typing. I hate it when someone else is typing :)

Why not just get a USB keyboard?

If he's buying another one, I think it's OK :)

It charges batteries individually, and it can be used as a USB power source as well? And Duracell discontinued it in the US? What are they thinking???

I don't use "normal" NiMH any more, the LSD ones are much better for my needs. If there's any significant differences between the Eneloops and AmazonBasics, it isn't very apparent in everyday use. I have Eneloop, Eneloop XX (last generation, definitely not as great in storing charge over time) and both the black and

I tried to sniff my WiFi in promiscuous mode on a Windows machine using WireShark, but all I could see are packets to / from my machine and broadcast packets. After 15 minutes on Google, I found out that I need either : AirPcap, some custom drivers that may or may not work, or a Linux machine.

I have both the black and the white precharged AmazonBasics batteries, as well as Eneloops. If there's any difference between them, it is not obvious from every day use.

A couple of photos. I didn't manage to get any of the backstage passes, sadly. But it was still great. Traffic, as expected, was an unholy mess. Lots of rest area in the walking tour. Lots of porta-potties.

They changed their plans and opened up part of the runway for parking. It took us half an hour to get in and we arrived at the Ellis gate at 8:30, half an hour before it starts.

No tours, but we got to walk through Hangar One for the first time in years. There's a mini exhibit about zeppelins with photos of the area in the days of USS Macon.

No. The cell phones know where they are from GPS (eventually - it will take multiple minutes without cell tower augmentation), but there are no towers to connect to, so cell phone companies won't know the phones are even turned on, let alone where they are. A satellite phone would work, but they are extremely rare.

This one. This one right here. Reading that as a kid, my reaction was "WTF?".
