@obstacle-man: Colonization would be a bigger deal if there were "colonization survivors" and if history books weren't the only place you encounter it. Keep in mind that the victorious write the history books. If the natives would have won against the colonialists, you can be sure the horrors wouldn't have been swept…

I would just like to add that Sony and MS's ultimate goal is to get their do-all multi-media products/devices into every home. This would certainly put MS in a better position to do so.

I don't see why people are comparing this to a pc. It's just something that goes under your tv. You probably wouldn't be able to run an OS other than the proprietary xbox one.

@creid: I think you may actually be right! I think MS might see this as a way to escape the RROD heritage, if this is true. Either way this could definitely change the game for future generations.

From the 360 side only Ryu could fit, but then again, they put yoda and vader in there, so characters obviously need not fit.

Well seeing as you obviously aren't enjoying GTA4 enough, you should probably go with MGS4.

@Eddy666: It may hamper their ability to secure exclusives since they can't afford to throw money around. Either way you it will effect you next gen for sure.

@looking for. Sony definitely over invested thinking that they would be able to replicate the success of the PS2.
