Yup. I don't think I've ever felt such hatred for a character in a pharmaceutical commercial… and that's saying a lot. It's ironic that she didn't get baptized to forgive her sins of selling-out. It's gonna be tough to not think of that character whenever she pops up in small parts like this.

Agreed. I think it's the best bizarre piece of comedy they've done all year. The "I used to have a family" line was perfection!

Maybe they could let them eak in for being the best live rock band of the past 20 years.

It makes it even more annoying in the sense that they're chopping all their shows up with these massive interruptions just to stroke their own egos. It also Vegas the question: Which is worse, advertising or propaganda?

Hader going from making omelettes with a racist sorority to covering the dictator was perfect. That episode really was the perfect takedown of everything that's lame about Vice. Just report the news…don't feel the need to do so as the edgiest reporter in Brooklyn. The transition from making omelettes with the racist

EXACTLY.

I watched an episode of Intervention on Viceland last night and it was stretched-out to the length of the Godfather trilogy with the endless, gigantic commercial breaks. That program was followed by one of their lame, bending over backwards to be stoner-cool, no budget original programs. It's nice to see that today's

I think this finale proved how obviously fake Adam Scott's beard was. That was some fakey facial hair.

Bejar's songs were always my faves. "Ballad of a Comeback Kid" is my all-time favorite New Pornographers song. IT'S SO FRICKIN AWESOME!

My all-time fave is Under The Bushes, Under the Stars which is circa 1996, a bit more mid-fi in production, and has a shit-ton of incredible songs on it. It's a great intro if you want something a tad more professionally produced as well. Universal Truths and Cycles (2002) is a great (early) Doug Gillard-era LP that

Ha! I remember that. That must have been pre-black mold scare in the US.

It's ironic that the paranoia kicked-in in the post Half Baked years. On SNL he seemed especially on edge. He just seemed much more relaxed in his classic specials.

His bit about Italians in that special is greatness. GET THE BATS.

FORREST: Can I move some of this stuff?

I think the Russian network that Ed Shultz sold-out to might be available on more cable providers…especially since Trump is in da house now. And by "da house" I am referring to the Whitest House™.

Gotta love the fact that you can't give this guy a hard time on Twitter because Twitter booted him. Twitter hasn't even booted our current dictator in chief for using that platform to spew hate and lies. You really have to be a prick for Twitter to shut you down. Milo's act as a comedian hiding behind the first

Not on this evening. I have seen them rip this out though…It's one hell of a party trick!

Not this time, but I have seen them do that in the past. That is one hell of a party trick!

Caught the same tour in San Diego. What a great show. The Sadies stole the show though. I dunno if any band would wanna play after these guys. There is great footage on YouTube of them backing Robyn Hitchcock and playing the entire "Sweetheart of the Rodeo" album. The same crew covers Floyd's "Astronomy Domine" with

That's the one!
