I hated the telethon with a passion. Again it always seemed to be raining that day and we were stuck inside. Pre cable we only had 3 or 4 channels and I can't remember if every channel ran it. Also marked the end of summer and start of school which sucked. JL and all the other tired acts had no appeal to anyone…
