I’m disappointed they didn’t go with ‘Edward’ or some other ‘E’ name to keep the alphabetical android naming convention going, i.e. Ash, Bishop, Call & David.

I think that the only way any TV characters will ever appear in the movies is to cancel one of the shows. That would free the characters up for introduction in the movies. Mockingbird and Hunter are two that are now free for cameos in the films.
