My experience was similar to yours. I wasn’t in agony, but I wasn’t feeling very good and I damned sure wasn’t bending my leg or letting anything touch my knee.

In my early 20's I coached 5th & 6th grade boys basketball in a summer league. Our kids were pretty poor and most of them hadn’t played before or just weren’t that good so we spent most of our time on basics and sportsmanship. It became clear after the first game that we were really bad.

The “more blocks than missed shots” stat is crazy, especially considering how many shots he takes a game.
