Blow in the cartridge...

Making a game linear with only one or two feasible endings is pretty much playing an interactive story which is fine...but making the story end by smashing your head against the wall after telling you the story is going to end well isn’t cool.

You know what I love in games? Endings that only “make sense” if you’ve done optional missions. Oh, you didn’t like this movie? Well, did you remember to watch the tie-in web series that’s only found via deciphering codes on an entirely different website?

Counterpoint: Far Cry 3 and 4 are some of my favorite games, but despite multiple attempts I couldn’t get into Far Cry 2, so the series is better for being “fixed.”

No thank you. I’ve been playing 4 lately as I caught it on sale several months ago and I *like* planned out stealth gameplay. Nothing annoys me more than the Hunters who don’t stay in view and royally fuck up my plans. This smells too much like a Git Gud argument for my liking.

I stopped using him because he ended up dying quite a few times to random things. And you always have to be careful not to drive over him. I’d rather use human character. He can man the turrets, shoot targets far away and such.
