There was no point to including the iPad. It's not in the same class of tablet. Adding the iPad to this comparison is like Jalopnik comparing the new Fusion and the new Accord but also tossing in a Lambo Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera. It's an OK comparison ya know, because it, um, has 4 wheels and an engine.

These appear to only be public facilities. I work for a pharmaceutical company and we have both a level 3 and a level 4 lab in several locations.

That's only 22.8 people her opening. That is relatively low actually. I have 20 current openings that I am screening for and on average I get well over 100 applications per position.

But the state has no sales tax. Same is true with Montana and Oregon. Also, in Montana and Oregon local municipalities can impose a sales tax, just like Alaska.

Instead of collecting my tax dollars, why doesn't the poor just get a damn job?

Map is wrong. Alaska should be light blue.

There was a hit and run on a pedestrian in my small town a couple days ago. I read about it in the paper. I contacted the police department about the accident and told them that if there is a piece of the car left behind they should send a picture to Jalopnik. The detective that I spoke with just laughed and said

My son eats and writes right handed but plays all sports left handed. Why? Because his mother, who is right handed, did most of the teaching of how to write and eat. And, me the lefty, did the teaching of sports. No matter how much I tried to get him to throw right handed he kept imitating me and is a lefty at

That's probably the rub.

Really the easiest option is to stop being a helicopter parent and stop trying to control what they see. If you raise them right from the start they will stay out of trouble. And a little experimenting with the underbelly of the internet isn't going to cause much harm. No need to completely shelter them. Just

I can only post using my email address which then links it to my account.

I can't log in now that I've linked my account to Twitter. Anybody else having this problem?

And leave a big scar.

I feel your finger-tip pain. Just can't get used to that.

I grew up on a farm with a few hundred stray cats running around. We fed them scraps and what not. But they ate tons of rats and birds and such. Anyway, my sister and I spent a day when I was 6 and she was 8 throwing cats out of the hayloft of the barn to see if cats really do land on their feet. Looking back it

I'm sure the story is good. But I'm not going to read it. Moving my eyes away from the photo long enough to post this is hard enough.

yeah, they'll get wet. what a shame.

How dare you suggest that something that could be considered a smartphone came before the almighty iPhone!

I wear a lab coat almost every day. I'm the head of logistics at a pharma company so I have no real reason to wear a lab coat. I don't mess with any of the scientific doohickies that the normal lab coat wearing folk do around here. It just get's cold in the office so I "borrowed" one from the clean rack one day.

Of course the actual winner of the billions was probably an 80-something old woman with no children who lives in an upper class resort town somewhere.
