I don't think you can kill off Angela without killing the show. She's the moral compass of the show.

The Strain was good, then wasn't. It was a mistake to put the focus on Zach instead of Vaun. But what do I know, I never read the books. I hate watched most of season 2. Is the show good again?
The men's restroom, and possibly the women's restroom?
I only ever watch the show wearing headphones (Sennheiser HD 598), and it's very rewarding for a show that is so cerebral. Even with headphones, however, I was unable to make out the conversation in the diner at the end.
I like the character of Dom and Gummer's portrayal of her immensely. Yes it's the typical smart cop surrounded by bozos, but what are you gonna do when it's all been done before, right? You even had that scene where she's sitting there in the hospital trying to put the pieces together. In this case, the direction…
This show is losing me at a point where it seems that I should be most engaged. I think the only solution is to binge the rest of the season.
You need your own TV show. I would hate watch that so hard.
<yawn> If you were more self-aware you'd see just how trite and cliche your responses are. If that's your intent, then kudos to you. We understand each other. Your turn… make it good.
You should seek professional help. Maybe go outside and play.
I don't understand why you are raging so hard toward me about this. If you don't see it as trite, that's entirely up to you. I found it to be trite, because I have seen this same scenario played out more times than I can count. To me, it's old, predictable, and boring. It's obvious you feel differently, which is…
First episode:
"How long you think she's gonna stay away for?"
"Long enough."
So you missed it. Big deal. Why are you taking it out on me?
That's nonsense.
Don't. Sometimes it's difficult not to kerfuffle with complete strangers about the hypothetical motivations of imaginary people on TV.
Yeah, I already said that: "I think the murder of the lawyer was more serendipitous than planned."
You were clear. Perhaps I wasn't. I was joking. Hope that's clearer.
Any more trite set-ups you wish to share with the rest of us? ;)
See, I assumed the hacking of the lawyer would have already been done way back at the beginning of the story. It didn't make sense that they were only just now getting to that. It was almost like this part of the story was handed off to someone else to write.
Like Hoke Moseley?
There was enough foreshadowing to know that the lawyer would be back eventually and that the crew would have to deal with it. You knew that it would be a surprise when she did, that they would tie her up, and that she would ask to use the bathroom, after which she would try to escape or whatever. Zzzzzzz… Trite. I had…
