Im ready for the challenge!

Wasn’t Burguer King the one that did an ad not long ago targetting IoT devices?

And yet other Mario titles/spin-offs can make new characters (such as Captain Toad) and it’s fine? It’s a bullshit double-standard and part of me believes that it’s not even a rule at all - just that Tanabe follows the guidelines that Miyamoto wanted ever since he interjected himself into Sticker Star’s development.

I gotta say io9 has been pretty irresponsible with their reporting on this issue. All the director said is that changes will happen. Io9 describes that as a promise of going back to the drawing board for a full redesign. That’s not what he said, and if there’s outrage from io9 readers when a full redesign does not

Cue “Ultra Instinct Bewear” memes.

Too many

I do think some couples are gaming together. I saw at least a few conversations of people MAD that their significant other was better than them at Fortnite.

Damn, I would have killed to have so many girls interested in mainstream gaming when I was in high school. All these boys are lacking vision: a shared interest is an unbeatable icebreaker. Dumbasses.

My favorite line of all!

Play the Free Fortnite: Battle Royale. If after that you think “I want to do this in a more realistic setting” then buy PUBG

But first let’s talk about parallel universes

I’m firmly in the “just charge me $100 for a full-featured AAA game then” if it’s simply a matter of making up development costs.

I have a hard time giving EA the benefit of the doubt though. I’m more inclined to believe that’s just an excuse and they really just want to nickel-and-dime as much as they can get away

Toby Fox’s retrospective is what really makes me love him as a game developer. He’s not all wrapped up within his own ego and legitimately wants to make games to both fulfill himself and others who are willing to join him along for the ride.

There’s a strange sense of humbleness in each one of his posts that you don’t

It’s interesting to see (hear?) how songs like Undyne’s theme and the UNDERTALE theme already had parts of the melody the actual release version songs have.

The game really means a lot to me (for reasons I’m still trying to understand, honestly), but more than anything else, the music is what permanently lodged it in the back of my mind. I don’t think there’s been a single day in the year it’s been out where I haven’t listened to at least one of the songs.
