The thing, at least to me, is that there’s a world of difference between the opinion of a single, nominally competent, scientist/medical professional and the combined weight of many of them all reaching the same conclusions independently.

That concern seems to be resolved, from what i’m hearing.

Doing it with minimal deaths is exactly what needs to be done. We can’t keep shut until the virus is completely gone, because that will never really happen.
