I have come across many games in the last 4-5 years that have full length single player campaigns that are fully inaccessible if you are not connected to the internet. The games just say “cannot reach server” and you’re just forced to sit there and look at the main menu.

I’ve worked in automotive for nearly 20 years now. Mostly in hard trim, but also in body and seats. In these spaces you learn pretty fast the manufacturing methods that are repeatable and proven and the ones that are not. Most automotive engineers don’t need to be certified experts with a mile long list of credentials

All of these “rules” have very little to do with self checkout and everything to do with being a decent, considerate human being.

Like, if you need to be introduced to the very basic concept of “being nice to people” and not letting your kids slow down an experience for others, then no number of articles on thetakeout

So, my wife and I have recently been on a journey of trying to show more interest in each others hobbies. I saw the first half-hour of this game from a youtuber who got early access about two weeks ago and thought the games slow pace would be a perfect introduction into gaming for my non-gamer wife. However, reading

I could be totally wrong, but I don’t think Geoff Keighley organizes and decides the entirety of these live events.

My choice for ‘missing from this list’ is Soma. I have never been more shaken by a games ending.

While there will no doubt be many heart-wrenching reports following the Roe and Dobs decision, I struggle to understand how it connects to this case...

Well said.

Sorry, but we are all losers here... not just gamers. From an antitrust perspective, this should have been a slam dunk case for the FTC. One of the largest tech companies in the world buying one of the largest videos game publishers in the world, for one of the biggest corporate purchases in history? There is no

You seem like a rather sad person to react so strongly to stranger’s post. These types of articles are always littered with misogynist looking to ruffle feathers, however you chose to pick an argument with a person who is clearly attempting to further alternate thought and conversation on a rather important topic.

I am in no way justifying Hill’s actions. However, there has been a lot of studies published attempting to explain this exact behavior/characteristic in adult men.

This is simply another example of someone who has consumed too much 24-hour “news” channel propaganda. Dudes parroting the buzz comments you see on any conservative forum, despite having no foundation in reality.

It is never good in the long term... I honestly struggle to think of a real or imagined scenario where focusing on short term, quarterly gains over long term (but slower) sustained profits worked out well. We see it over and over again, where companies have either burned their customer base or destroyed their product

Don’t be so naïve, we need to think about shareholder dividends too.

Nah, but we can blame the entire GOP if you’d like.

Taco Bell’s quality (and effectively its taste) has plummeted , while its prices have skyrocketed. When I can go to Chipotle for less, I see no need for Taco Bell anymore.

Everything that has ever existed can be viewed as problematic under the right lens. I feel like we are just desperately seeking reasons to complain at this point. I guess moving forward, just to be safe, all characters should be the generic placeholder body used in most game engines.

Look, I like to cringe from incels just as much as the next guy. However, is it not a bit unfair that we have grown to sympathize with young women for the pressures they feel from society to look, act, behave a certain way, but we do not feel the same sympathy for young men who are also lost and confused by the world?

Wait, you mean that the residents of Florida didn’t want to inherit over 1 billion of Disney’s debt? Someone should have let little ronnie know.

My favorite part of all this...
