Hey, look on the bright side, at least the multiplayer version is a totally separate product, meaning that decisions made to benefit the multiplayer side of things shouldn’t have an impact on the single-player sequel.

You can’t really lump all crypto into a single generalization. There are plenty of shady crypto tokens to be sure, but there are also major industry-supported tokens like Ethereum that have value beyond simple scarcity.

What about those of us who have “automatically check the stupid captcha checkbox” extensions installed?

I gotta say, that mostly-white armor is a pretty sweet look

Good news! You’re not supposed to get past the skeletons at the beginning of the game!  You’ve been going the wrong way.  Try going up the hill towards the castle instead.

That show was such a surprise treat - I started it thinking “eh, I’ll give this three episodes, then I’m probably out” and by the end of the first episode I was hooked.  The songs were all surprisingly good too; I remember particularly enjoying the improvised rap where one zombie girl basically yelled at the audience

I’m pretty sure the tournament arc only had a single fight that lasted more than one episode, and that was the biggest showpiece of the series up until that point.  Seems like a weird place to lose interest, especially as I remember that fight being amazing.

Well, part of that is because prosecutors in Japan tend to only take cases they’re confident in - the rate of prosecution is something like 37% relative to the number of arrests.  There are significant problems with the judicial system outside of that, though.

ITT: Cherry-picking negative examples and confirmation bias galore

It’s cool to hear the song sung by someone other than a tortured cis guy moaning out his pain in that cliche ‘90s grunge voice

I do love all of these updates, but I kind of wish they’d dedicate one of these major updates to nothing but bug fixes and balance issues, like making vehicles/mechs more useful.

Well, if it’s anything like my development job, she’s not working those hours all the time. I usually work 6-7 hour days but might work 10-12 hour ones in the week before a release, because humans are terrible at estimating how long it’s gonna take to do a thing.

That flying boss is one of the difficulty spikes. And one major tip I can give you for flying enemies is to rapid-fire launch at them. They’ll generally dodge the first projectile and then eat the second projectile full in the face.

Have you tried playing since they added assist mode? It’s basically like a cheat menu that allows you to tweak the gameplay to be as forgiving as you like. I 100%’d the game legit and then started a new save with way higher energy, life, and ammo regeneration rates, and am having a lot of fun just blowing through

🙄

I recently played Remnant: From the Ashes, and it suffers from the same problem.  It’s like they just ported the lip syncing tech from the original Half-life onto high-fidelity modern character models.

So your theory is that someone made a conscious, deliberate decision that was essentially “yo, fuck epileptic people?” I have a much harder time believing that than I do believing that they simply didn’t put enough thought into it.

Yeah, you were being a bit of a dick.  And the person who replied had a point. The question you asked was answered in the article.

What, you don’t leave a dildo behind to mark everywhere you’ve ever sat down?

There’s nothing inherently illegal about emulators. I seriously doubt anyone playing at this level doesn’t legally own the game. The one and only reason they even decided to use an emulator in the first place was due to Nintendo’s complete failure to fix their shitty netcode.
