No, it’s not. It can be uninstalled, it doesn’t mask its presence, it doesn’t install itself to the kernel, and it doesn’t gain any system-level permissions that any other driver can’t access.  It doesn’t meet any of the definitions of a rootkit.

Especially annoying when you try to walk around to the front of Seventh Heaven via its porch and find that it’s baaaaarely blocked off on both sides by totally immovable tables and chairs.

Sounds like she’s got a textbook example of borderline personality disorder. What a treat for you. Sorry you’re stuck in that kind of a situation :/

Agreed. I can’t tell you how many times I’ll re-lay a single wire just to make it as geometrically neat as possible. I usually use seams where two panels make a 90 degree angle as a place to run things inside of my base (just like running them along baseboards in real life!), but the fact that the wires are kind of a

NPCs definitely walk around now. It’s pretty much limited to the “waiting room” area on space stations and random NPCs outside of planetary settlements, but the only ones who are totally stationary now are the ones manning kiosks & terminals.

Because people are still buying it new, and people are still buying it new because Hello Games keeps releasing new free content for it.

What an insanely comprehensive article.  About the only thing I’d quibble over is calling liquid’s arm taking over Ocelot a supernatural thing. MGS4 made it clear that it was the nanites remaining in the arm that imprinted Liquid’s personality & memories into Ocelot’s brain, or something.

I’d highly dispute that. Maybe there are *aspects* of the game that are the high point in the series for that *aspect*, but holistically, as a complete package? MGS3 any day of the week.

Both, I’d say

And yet strangely hilarious

Actually, a lot of people praise Citizen Kane for its story.  Sure, it’s more famous for its cinematography, but a movie doesn’t get to be that famous for having just good cinematography and a shitty story.

It’s weird, I feel like the mouth animations were pretty well synced up to the English dialogue in the demo. Maybe I’m just misremembering.  Either way, if the lip syncing isn’t good with English, then I’ll just switch it to Japanese audio and rely on the subtitles. I play with subtitles on anyway so I can play late

Now that I’ve played it, I can confirm two things: one is that the “growth” ability is really nice... when it’s available. The other thing is that I was right about that power being far less flexible than the other powers. It would be one thing if they’d gone back and added growth spots throughout the original game’s

Interesting. Must have been developed by the crew at the Lambda complex.

Awesome! Glad I could help.

Maybe I’m wrong about this, but wouldn’t the HEV suit be more likely to have the Black Mesa logo on its chest plate, rather than the lambda symbol?

Whelp, time to fire up the ol’ mouse macro editor
