All the money that Wade made for Miami, Miami does owe him. That is why I never get mad at these crazy contracts for aging stars (like say a Jeter on the Yanks). I realize that those contracts are mostly a thank you for the titles. Miami should have opened up the wallet and gave in.

I like the addition of Draymond - it will answer some big questions, like ‘How much padding does a foreskin actually provide?’

I had the opportunity to attend a tour of the new facility put up by Alpha Project in downtown San Diego. The founder and CEO Bob McIlroy’s conclusion after 20 years doing this work was that you need to build enough supportive housing to address the needs of the homeless population in the city. To that end, you need

“I may be poor, dumber than a rock but me fight good!!!”

I think we all know that a Russian football hooligan is really at the bottom of the pile when it comes to douchebaggery. But, at least they owned it.

I notice that no DURRRR ANSWER THE CALL OF DUTY DURRR right winger ever seems to care that George W Bush dodged the draft. HE’S A LEADER.

It’s insane. His column doesn’t even really criticize Ali’s objection to the war.

Well said. It still amazes me to this day that Bush and Cheney managed to convince a significant portion of people that John Kerry, who was, you know, actually IN Vietnam was a traitor and coward while their draft dodging chickenhawk asses were comfortable at home. Respect to your uncle.

Thank you for saving me the time from reading any of his garbage article. What a garbage pov.

i’d bet Ted had some of them Student Deferrals to stay out of SE Asia.

Among the people who conscientiously objected to the Vietnam War and were sent to prison is my uncle. While in prison he decided he needed to become a lawyer to affect actual change. He practiced law in a civil rights capacity for the rest of his working life. Now semi-retired and working for the ACLU.

So in this guy’s estimation Ali should have been drafted and taken:

Opposition to war is always the reason people die in wars.

Yes, it must suck to be rich, famous, and drowning in more pussy than a midget in a whale’s vagina.
