That’s probably what they did for subsequent broadcast versions that aired on TV.

Yeah, I can’t load more comments or star anything. I click on them and nothing happens.
damn, you beat me to it
He’s not really saying anything trenchant, though, and nothing that hasn’t been said before. I mean, there was a whole episode of The Critic from 1994 that said the same thing:
They’ve never explained recasts before (Terence Howard -> Don Cheadle, Ed Norton -> Mark Ruffalo). Why would they need to “explain” this one? Just recast the character and move on.
He didn’t have enough time units to duck before shooting.
Right? How can you call it “over reliance” when they’ve only just started using it?
Gunn realizes what works best for DC is to lean in on all of its goofiness instead of Snyder’s grimdark horseshit. He gave us Starro the Conquerer, he should do more of that. Give me Mr. Myxlplyx. Give me Bat-Mite. Give me Detective Chimp. Give me Mr. Mind. Give me Jimmy Olsen marrying a goddamn gorilla.
Uh yeah...I saw that, too. With my smoking hot girlfriend who totally went all the way with me. But you wouldn’t know her, she’s from Canada.
*Zaslav hums the “Safety Dance” before laughing in a sinister tone*
Yeah, the contest was “Hold your wee for a Wii.” She had to hold in her urine for as long as possible. Not exactly the same situation as described here, but still an example of water killing someone.
Yeah. The differences between film, TV, video game, and comic rights (and who has the license to what) can get confusing. That’s the reason they had to rename Shuma-Gorath in Multiverse of Madness, even though they can still call him by that name in the comics and video games (like the Marvel vs. Capcom series).
Yeah, there’s lots of different versions of the Thunderbolts:
Yeah, I couldn’t find any more detail than that, so I don’t know how or why they’ve held on to that for so long...or why Disney hasn’t tried to buy the distribution rights off of them like they did from Paramount for the Iron Man films.
Universal lost the rights to make standalone Hulk films in 2005, but they still have the right of first refusal to pick up distribution rights on any standalone Hulk film.
“Batman Minus Batman”
Understanding that reference made me realize I’m old enough to have a Midlife Crisis.
Nah, that’s not oversimplifying it enough. Call it “Batman’s Not Here Yet”
You forgot “Robin Williams is a Genie”
Okay man, I’m not looking to argue over semantics.
