It's definitely everyone pushing their own personal agenda on to the show. I brought this up in a prior post. But that's fine. It's a work of art so everyone can have their own interpretation and experience with said art. I think the ACT of making a largely female cast by the creators can be interpreted in a certain

What a twist!

The breakneck speed of the finale left me thoroughly disappointed. Also I was generally not a fan of how the various story arcs wrapped up. Le sigh.

If only Vin Diesel was the voice over for the Iron Gi…errrr Kuvira's super weapon.

Fair point. That may very well be the case. That's what I had initially thought until Oliver said, "It's very hard not to see Korra's experience as a metaphor for the suffering experienced by women every single day". But your reply makes me think that Oliver is making an outside metaphorical interpretation of a

The story covered a ton of ground this episode so I too felt like it was slightly rushed. Thankfully the overall episode was handled so well that it didn't really hurt the episode. Definitely one of my favorites from the season. I agree 100% with the reviewer that things are shaping up for a multi-story finale

The C is fair. Having any kind of clip rehash episode in such a short season was the most infuriating thing about this whole ordeal. I really do feel for the production team and this was more than likely the best and most acceptable action to take, but a weak episode is a weak episode. Literally every piece of

In my heart of hearts I kind of just want NO Korra relationship to happen. I know it seems…"abnormal" (I guess) since we have been consuming 20th/21st century media that has pretty consistently mandated romantic relationships form within the story, but I think it would be good to just leave it alone. To me the notion

So based on that cameo at least we can definitively say that this Season of Korra takes place before episode 25 of Cowboy Bebop. Glad we cleared that up…

Anytime a character has at their disposal a shonen anime-esque Ace in the hole power the writers will have to constantly make an effort to justify said character not using it. It didn't make much sense for Korra to try and not use it during the fight with Kuvira. With the fate of the Earth Kingdom hanging on a 1v1 why

Here, here!
I still think Amon and the idea of the Equalist faction was the biggest waste of potential for the Korra series but I agree that Kuvira is a great villain. What makes me nervous is how easily Kuvira was trounced once Korra went into Avatar state. This suggests to me that by the next kor vs. kuv battle

I'm still very much on the fence about this whole 'PTSD' Korra situation. And Korra's fight with Kuvira has made it that much more sketchy in my view. My eyes rolled when evil Link (read Evil Imaginary Korra) showed up conveniently when Korra was about to win. Come on, writers. Not to mention I was hoping that Korra

I agree! I just reeeeeeeally hope that the lessons she learned at the end of the episode were not just for the sake of closing off the 'PTSD Korra' arc, but that these lessons will factor in to how her and the rest of team avatar resolve the overarching season's conflict.

As was said by many others, time constraints are probably a major factor in the plot pacing decision. I personally think the writers maybe should have backed off on the whole 'fighting evil imaginary avatar korra' thing if they were going to wrap it up so quickly. I'm willing to buy her seeing hallucinations and not
