Back in the day when Halo 2 was on the top of online video games a friend and I were playing team doubles a 2v2 game type featuring slayer and objective type games. We happened to be playing oddball where the objective is to hold a skull(ball) for a total of 120 seconds, which can be difficult while the other team

Except mobile is absolutely a HORRIBLE choice for an in depth strategy game, which is what people WANT out of C&C. This is going to be another Clash of Clans ripoff and it’s going to do terribly, because once again, EA is just mindlessly copying a fad without any concern for making a decent game.

It might even be more complex and more interesting to play than C&C 4 was. That doesn’t make it any less of an insult to C&C fans though.

I really liked the Stalin in this game. It was the last time I played C&C.

Been a fan since the original myself, and C&C 4 was the first and only game I payed full price for and then (once I had finished the campaign) took the disc, scrubbed it through my cat litter, and tossed it out the window. Literally. Never have I been more disappointed in a game in my life.

C&C, Ultima, and Wing Commander were some of my favorite game series growing up. My hate for EA runs deep.

I’ve been a fan of C&C since Red Alert in .. 1996.. yikes. EA buying and shutting down Westwood in 2003 let me experience one of the earliest shits that EA likes to take on devs and I’ve never gotten over it. Based on the comments here and reddit it seems like many other C&C fans haven’t either hah

Oh look. A C&C from EA game that’s a complete monstrosity. I put that one down for good with C&C4.

“in a format you probably weren’t expecting”

I have no history with Command & Conquer and even I laughed at how pitiful this game is.

Honestly, if you weren’t expecting this then you clearly haven’t been paying attention to either EA or past gaming trends.

Which is funny, because the segment right after this they kept on talking about “listening to our fans to make better games”. I guess that doesn’t include C&C Fans.

It’s like they took my childhood and are giving it back to me one piece at a time via micro-transactions.

This is offensive. EA loves to keep reminding us of how they completely dismantled Westwood and continue to shit on C&C at every opportunity, don’t they?

When it comes to third-party revivals, mobile is always the format I’m expecting, just never the one I want.

The police waste all their time on things like this, meanwhile the Tunnel Snakes are still running wild, terrorizing the public with their aggressive and provocative dance moves.

Industry, Science and technology. Big man putting screw drivers into things. Turning them.. Adjusting them!

While not as ancient the game that continues to remain fun is Burnout 3. It was all about fun and not all about being realistic. That makes is really hold up well over time. Many of these others are just attempts at simulators which will always show their age poorly.
