And the Shogun in uk. Although that was probably more because nobody here would be able to pronounce Pajero...

Presumably the abuse he got for it!

To be fair, in the ur-mini, it was so small that the centre dial was still pretty much in front of your eyes anyway...

Love me a red audi avant (own this one’s little brother), looks fabulous, but at that price with thise issues, nein danke.

Fastest I ever drove a car on the road was one of these, burgundy 2.3 I think, as an ersatz bread delivery van. 135 on a scottish a-road at 6 in the morning. Sublime at the time (I was 18).

Showing my age and its for a very specific journey up the west coast of Scotland in the evening, north of Fort William taking the road to Skye, but Dire Straits Brothers in Arms. Flashbacks if i hear that of all the journeys as a kid...

Maybe helps him find a replacement for his current partner. Sorry that joke was terminal.

Pedant alert, but that isn’t the bypass, which has four lanes...

And cheaper too! The interior is so much more interesting than the smooth plastic

CP but for price only. Cracking looking, relatively low mileage car from when Mercedes still built cars to withstand the apocalypse, just too expensive for something thirty years old (thirty years old is slightly depressing too!) and with a slushbox

This needs many many more stars.

Always wanted one of these. God I’m old.

I’ve had a golf and then an a3. No major problems other than maintenance (and the time that arse hit me), 140k across both. Diesels though.

Got to say I don’t get all the hate for Audi reliability on here. Are US Audis not German built? Had my A3 (2005, Turbo Diesel) 3 & a half years and no major problems. Yes I know it’s a totally different car, but still...
