Did it look like Drakar N'oir put on a few lbs to anyone else?

Is anyone else a little disappointed that the mic didn't catch any old man little trumpet farts in the bathroom? My hopes were high after that insanely weird burp.

I think of that whenever I hear "effulgent"….which is rare, but still….

Feel better now?

Now I'm just seeing CPA Killian Casey's family #BroadCity

I only see a sailboat.

Yeah, I don't really think she can actually return it, but I could see her trying.

Yeah, it was not a good look, but neither is a stained white power blazer.

I loved that Ilana was wearing her white power suit jacket and it still had the stain on the lapel. Do you think Abbi is still planning to return that blue dress?

I caught "micro penis" and "twincest" in their Google searches, but does anyone know what the others were?

Don't get me wrong - I'm not looking forward to watching it; I'm just looking forward to having something to complain about.

It seemed like there was only one voter who bothered to actually watch most of the movies nominated.

Fair enough, but I thought some of his earlier stuff was on the campy side, especially compared to normal Oscar fare.

You should check out the Brutally Honest Oscar Voter Ballot articles on Hollywood Reporter. The voting process of some of those people is a little crazy and some of them do have the maturity of a five year old.

I first saw it in the theater when it came out, and I've seen it again fairly recently, and I think it has held up pretty well.

I guarantee that the version in your mind is a million times better than the show that airs. Sometimes it just feels good to watch something horrible and complain about it, you know?

Yeah, that's definitely part of it. Cronenberg was always known for campy horror type movies and the Oscars have never been fond of that type.

Jeremy Irons blew me away in that role. "Ellie" "Ellie" "Ellie" at the end just fucking haunts me. I think he was overlooked for that role because the subject matter is too "icky" for the people who decide the Oscar stuff.

I'm really looking forward to complaining about The Walking Dead later.
